Lime Juice

Even the smallest sliver
of zest of lime
smells of sunshine.

You would not want
to have lime juice every day

But once in a while
it is a treat.

I have it on good authority that a splash of lime juice is also delicious in a Corona beer.

Welcome back...

I'm planning on making a lime version of limoncello (the grapefruit version is currently melding).

Thank god you're here! (which incidentally is the name of a very successful comedy show here).

The occasional insight from you will be very very welcome....

What a beautiful colour limes are. I prefer them in gin to lemons and margaritas - well, delicious. But you're right - a little 'demanding' to the palette, like daily blogging when other parts of life need more time.

Congratulations on your first post - hope to see you (as) regularly (as possible) in your new abode.

Heartening to note you haven't deserted us for good - on a sadder note Gloucester fared far worse than London Irish this weekend although from the highlights I saw they deserved to throw themselves on Leicester's sword!

Makes me long for a margarita. But perhaps it's just that my children are driving me to drink...

(Happy anniversary!!)

Thank heavens you have not left us altogether.

Every so often, on a warm day, I have a fancy for a tequila with lime and sugar, just a little one, transports me immediately back to a summer long ago, when the music was good, I was young and hangovers did not afflict me.
