An Office Warming Party

Welcome!
I thought you might like to have a look around.

Here is my screen.

It has been much admired.
It is big enough for large financial spreadsheets
and wide enough to watch tennis.

Would you like a coffee?

Please appreciate my mugs
which have a strong graphic design
inspired by much reading of blogs
featuring modern fabrics.

The view from the window might seem dreary
but there is a flat roof outside
and a magpie often sits there.

I like that.

A lot.

Gosh. Your desk is quite tidy... not that I would expect anything different...

It looks a haven of tranquility - is it always that tidy?

The only day my desk was that tidy was the day I left ;-)

I am wiating for my family to finish the syrup in the gold golden syrup tin so I can appropriate it. It does feel wrong to be encouraging them to eat more sugar though!

What tidiness! Where's the gin bottle?

I'm surprised you have your pens in a Golden Syrup tin. I was expecting spode.

Now I am more anxious to get to my new desk.

You make me even more impatient for my desktop to arrive.

I do like sitting with my laptop in a comfy chair but to see things BIG will be wonderful!

I am not sure that the picture of the cake shows the screen off to full advantage. It might be better to have an ubersize banana split or some panoramic shot

Very nice. And I really won't ever show you my office, which looks like a paper-spewing cyclone has just been through. Good luck! I'm sending a virtual basket of oranges.

What an enviably organised work space. (I can't get near my desk because of towering piles of papers and documents). I think you need to post a photograph of the other side of your office!

Well, having a window is always nice, no matter what it looks out on! And your flowers and mugs are just lovely. Mugs are an office must!

Wow your desk is tidy! mine is a mess!

I love the mugs by the way! I like to imagine having a spot of tea from one with you!

Oh, I should have added that I'd be forever saluting that lone magpie! (You can find out more over at my blog).
