A Single Rose (x2)

MrM has discovered a new florist.

She will select one beautiful, fragrant pink rose
and wrap it in cellophane
and tie it with raffia for MrsM.

And then do another one for MissM.

Step away, Ladies,
MrM is already taken.

This post is for Jane
who grows beautiful flowers in Scotland.

You're very lucky, and I'm sure you know that already.

Dear Alice Whom I Intend To Visit On All Future Travels To The UK: thank goodness you and MrM found a replacement for the disgraceful Other Florist. All is now right with the world.

That single rose business is fetching, isn't it?

please will Mr M write a post to all husbands advising on the need to buy single roses (or any flowers except half dead ones of course), and thus prevent us all being so insanely jealous....

Reminds me of the florist in the little village when we lived in Nord Pas de Calais - made the very inexpensive Mothers' Day gift from three young children seem and look like a million dollars - all it takes is a little effort

You are so lucky MrsM.
Mr Attic has forgotten that he can buy flowers for his wife to make her feel special.

I should point out that MrsM is of course my English rose already (variegated with a spot of Cornish thrown in for good measure).

Not sure if I can live up to the billing now ...

I'm enjoying this "occasional" blogging. So glad you didn't disappear.
